About Aboriginal Carbon Foundation

The Aboriginal Carbon Foundation (AbCF) catalyses life-changing, community prosperity, through carbon farming. Our aim is to build wealth for Traditional Owners and non-Aboriginal carbon farmers, implementing carbon projects that demonstrate environmental, social and cultural core benefits, through the ethical trade of carbon credits.

We operate on the cutting edge of ideas and community-based solutions. We bring together people with fresh ways of working, professional experience and a desire to achieve outcomes that tackle Indigenous poverty and climate change through a strengths-based approach. With a strong culture of innovation and collaboration, the AbCF supports carbon farming projects and connects communities who supply carbon credits, with organisations seeking to offset their carbon pollution.

We openly seek to collaborate with fellow Aboriginal organisations, carbon companies, non-government organisations (NGOs), conservation organisations, universities and government agencies. The AbCF is a full member of the Carbon Market Institute and is a trusted leader on Aboriginal carbon.
