Amy O'Brien | Project Officer

(they/them - she/her)

Amy is a D’harawal person, who grew up in Newcastle on Awabakal Country, and is always looking forward to her next time in the saltwater and loves the outdoors, hiking, swimming, climbing, or sitting in her garden. Amy recently graduated from the Australian National University with a double degree in Public Policy and Arts (Sustainable Development) and has a background in the environmental space through volunteering with organisations such as UN Youth Australia, School Strike for Climate, and most recently, SeedMob. Through these experiences, Amy has developed a love for fire management and almost became a park ranger.

Amy is excited that this position with ICIN will enable her to pursue this love and apply her skills to help the network grow.
