2024 North Australia Savanna Fire Forum

Now in its 6th year, the North Australia Savanna Fire Forum facilitates knowledge sharing and improved understanding and practice within the growing, successful and important Indigenous carbon industry.

This event is held in partnership with Charles Darwin University (CDU), a partnership that reflects the history of this event, which was launched by the CDU Centre for Bushfire Research in 2019 along with North Australia & Rangelands Fire Information (NAFI), and has been hosted annually by ICIN with support from CDU since 2020.

Program 

The rich Forum program will include the latest in savanna fire management practice and fire science technology as well as First Nations leadership in Caring for Country and the preservation of ancient fire management practices.
