Forum that's a wrap, photo gallery, a big thanks to our sponsors

That's a wrap for another remarkable North Australia Savanna Fire Forum. The ICIN Board, Members and staff would like to thank each and every one of you for contributing to the event's success.

We extend a warm thank you to our valued sponsors, the dedicated working group, the insightful presenters, and adept facilitators who all played pivotal roles in the running of this event.

We thank Larrakia Elders for welcoming us to their Country. In particular to Trent Lee and Cyan Sue Lee for the smoking ceremony and Welcome to Country.

It was inspiring to have 24 Indigenous ranger groups presenting on their vital work across the Kimberley, Top End, and Cape York, with their efforts resonating with this year's theme of 'Savanna Fire Management for Healthy Country and Healthy People.'

We extend our appreciation to the numerous groups who spared no effort in joining us on Larrakia Country. Their dedication, often involving significant time and financial investment, underscores the significance of savanna fire management in caring for Country and the growing and successful Indigenous carbon industry.

We thank our event partner Charles Darwin University (CDU), this is a partnership that reflects the history of this event which was launched by the CDU Centre for Bushfire Research in 2019 along with North Australia & Rangelands Fire Information (NAFI).
