About Numbulwar Numburindi Rangers

The Numbulwar Rangers are part of the South East Arnhem Land Fire Abatement (SEALFA) carbon project, which operates within the South East Arnhem Land Indigenous Protected Area (SEAL IPA). They manage 3,300kmof land and sea country.

Registered as an Eligible Offsets Project by ALFA (NT) Ltd in 2015, SEALFA is managed by the Northern Land Council (NLC). Together with the Yugul Mangi Rangers, the Numbulwar Rangers implement a coordinated annual program of strategic early dry season burning and fire suppression activities in the late dry season.

The Numbulwar Rangers are part of the South East Arnhem Land Fire Abatement (SEALFA) project registered under ALFA NT and managed by the NLC.
